There are no known health risks associated with breast ultrasound.  As with most medical procedures, it may not always be possible to pick up some of the more subtle indicators, and there will always be a very small risk that a clinical symptom is missed.

Please be aware that unexpected clinical findings can occur which may need further evaluation.  By attending this clinic, our assumption is that you are giving consent for us to contact your GP for further referral if necessary.  However, if in the event you decide you prefer us not to make such a referral, we will duly note and honour your decision.
